Kia ora students, whanau and caregivers. Welcome to the Wharekura NCEA English page. Here you will find Course Outlines, and students can click on the buttons to take them to sites and pages that will support their online learning. It is recommended that when working from home, students allocate the same amount of time to their studies as they would if following the school timetable and doing homework. A tentative minimum guideline has been given in the information for each year level.

- Pathways Awarua via the GoPlacesNow web page: Here you can improve upon your reading and writing skills
- Google Stream and Classroom: This is where you will find your Achievement Standard tasks, instructions and resources
- LearnCoach: This is an online learning platform that offers clear and concise lessons to help support and guide you through the Achievement Standard and the task.
It is recommended that you spend 30 mins a week of your own time doing some of the literacy tasks on Pathways Awarua. You should use your allocated class time plus at least an hour per week of your own time on your NCEA English programme.
